JEFFERSON CITY – The Missouri Judicial Performance Review Committee provided Missouri voters with their performance findings for 52 nonpartisan judges who will be up for retention in the Nov. 3 general elections, including in Clay County. Ray County judges are not rated; they run in partisan elections. “We want to make sure the people of Missouri have good judges who are fair, impartial and skilled,” committee Chairman Dale Doerhoff said. “Our independent committee provides voters with extensive information about the performance of our judges up for retention to help them make informed decisions.” In Clay County, Circuit Judge David Chamberlain on a five-point Likert scale average more than a 4.5 based on the 19-question review by lawyers who have appeared in his court; Circuit Judge Janet Lodwick Sutton averaged more than 4.5 out of five;; and Circuit Judge Alisha O’Hara averaged more than 4.5; and Associate Judge Louis Angeles scored no less than 4.65 in any category, the highest…
