The Excelsior Springs City Council has approved a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the University of Missouri Extension (MUE) to collaborate on the upcoming Connecting Entrepreneurial Community Conference.This MOU outlines the terms for collaboration between the Curators of the University of Missouri, representing MUE, and the City of Excelsior Springs to successfully plan and execute the Connecting Entrepreneurial Communities (CEC) Conference, which will take place from September 23-25, 2025.The CEC conference aims to promote economic growth across rural communities in Missouri by fostering a culture of entrepreneurship.“By hosting the conference, Excelsior Springs will have an opportunity to showcase its charm, gain economic benefits, network with potential partners and make a long-term impact on local entrepreneurship,” said Excelsior Springs Director of Economic Development Melinda Mehaffy.The CEC program provides a platform for economic dev...
