Excelsior Springs resident Ashley Crawley was recognized recently with the presentation of the National Ceca Award. Crawley, an employee of Focus Healthcare Solution, was given the award during a surprise ceremony held in Liberty. President of Ceca Foundation Nate Hamme flew from Washington, D.C., to present the award. “Our board of directors back in January read through all these nominations we received throughout the year,” said Hamme. “We identified yours as particularly touching and an example of what exceptional care – looks like you have an exceptional talent to be able to connect to people and meet them where they are not only in their homes but where they are as a human beings.” Crawley was left speechless surrounded by a group of family and coworkers. “I love what I do,” mentioned Crawley.
