EXCELSIOR SPRINGS – The Good Samaritan Center, Tri-County Mental Health, Senior Health Solutions, Signature and other organizations plan to host the Drive-Through Mental Health Fair in the Good Samaritan Center parking lot. The lot is across from the center’s entrance on Broadway in downtown Excelsior Springs. The event is for seniors and their caregivers from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday, July 27. “It is an opportunity to gather self-help tips to combat isolation, mental fatigue and symptoms of depression,” information from the Good Samaritan Center states. “Attendees drive through in their cars or scooters to get information, hand-outs and other fun things. Door prizes also will be included. Come join us and beat the COVID blues.”
