As the final days of the school year approach, elementary students across Excelsior Springs are trading routine for celebration, filling their calendars with field days, talent shows and milestone moments, marking both an ending and a beginning.That shift is especially evident in the lineup of end-of-year events taking place across the district, where students are stepping out of the classroom and into activities designed to celebrate their accomplishments.Across all three elementary buildings, many of those traditions share familiar themes, with field days, mile runs and talent shows bringing students together in the final weeks of school.
