ES man is no-show after being released without bond
A warrant has been issued for an Excelsior Springs man for failing to appear at a scheduled plea hearing on charges of first-degree tampering with a motor vehicle.David D. Tucker, 33, was released on his own recognizance while awaiting the hearing by a Clay County judge.In addition to the felony charge of first-degree tampering with a motor vehicle, Tucker is facing one misdemeanor charge of resisting or interfering with an arrest, detention or stop.Tucker recently appeared before JudgeShane T. Alexander of the Seventh Judicial Circuit Court to request a bond modification. With no objections from the Clay County Prosecutor’s Office, Judge Alexander agreed to release Tucker on his own recognizance, provided he resides in a sober living facility, such as an Oxford House, and fully complies with all the rules and conditions of that residency.
