ES man pleads not guilty, two felonies
An Excelsior Springs man has been granted a bond reduction while facing two felony charges.Jacob R. Winfree, 28, has been charged with first-degree endangering the welfare of a child involving drugs and resisting or interfering with an arrest for a felony.Winfree recently appeared before Eighth Judicial Circuit Court Judge Lori J. Baskins, requesting his bond be reduced and taken out of no bond allowed status. Baskins granted his request and modified the bond to $5,000 with special conditions. These conditions include a home plan in Excelsior Springs, no contact with anyone under the age of 18 and evaluation and compliance with all recommendations for mental health issues.As of press time, Winfree is still in the Custody of Ray County Jail.
