ES man posts bond, weapons, animal abuse
An Excelsior Springs man facing one felony and two misdemeanor charges has been released on bond.
Brendan M. Moore, 28, is charged with unlawful use of a weapon, animal abuse and resisting or interfering with an arrest.
Moore, who was being held on a $20,00 bond, was granted a bond reduction by Seventh Judicial Circuit Court Judge Louis Angles. The judge cited Moore has no history of failing to appear, has ability to live with a friend in Claycomo, as well as the alleged victim wanting to drop the case.
Angles amended the bond to $1,000 cash or surety with special conditions. The conditions include reporting to Northland Dependency Services within 24 hours of his release, Repath as directed with drug testing, actively seek or maintain employment, not possessing a firearm, not possessing alcohol or any controlled substance without a valid prescription, undergoing medical or psychological treatment as directed by his bond supervisor, no cont...
