An Excelsior Springs man facing one felony and two misdemeanor charges has been released on bond. Brendan M. Moore, 28, is charged with unlawful use of a weapon, animal abuse and resisting or interfering with an arrest. Moore, who was being held on a $20,00 bond, was granted a bond reduction by Seventh Judicial Circuit Court Judge Louis Angles. The judge cited Moore has no history of failing to appear, has ability to live with a friend in Claycomo, as well as the alleged victim wanting to drop the case. Angles amended the bond to $1,000 cash or surety with special conditions.
