Two Excelsior Springs School District buses were involved in accidents, two mornings in a row, according to Excelsior Springs School Dishict Safety and Security staff. There were no injuries reported. The first accident occurred at approximately 7:35 a.m. Monday near the Excelsior Springs Community Center at the intersection of Tiger Drive and Wornall Road. The bus was not carrying students at the time; however, the second vehicle involved had two student passengers. The second accident occurred at 8:15 a.m. on Tuesday at 143rd Street and Highway M when an oncoming vehicle came too close to the centerline and collided mirrors witl1 the bus, resulting in a broken mirror and small driver’s window on the bus. After emergency personnel anived, students were loaded onto another bus and delivered to Elkhorn Elementa1y.
