The Excelsior Springs City Council has unanimously approved a resolution authorizing the Excelsior Springs Police Department’s (ESPD) participation in the Missouri Department of Transportation Highway Safety Program. The program provides grant funding for targeted enforcement of hazardous moving violations and driving while intoxicated offenses.ESPD Chief Gregory Dull presented the resolution during a recent special city council meeting.“Before you is information concerning the Missouri Highway Safety Program,” said Dull. “The police department is requesting your approval to participate in this program.
