Good Samaritan Center offering free Narcan

The Good Samaritan Center of Rural Clay County and Ray County is putting their best foot forward by helping better the community. The Excelsior Springs location of the center has begun handing out free Narcan nasal spray to the community. Any person can come into the building and receive the 4 MG of Narcan along with a flyer filled with information to help educate the public on how to use the spray. Narcan nasal spray is a medicine used for the treatment of a known or suspected opioid overdose emergency with signs of breathing problems, severe sleepiness or not being able to respond, according to Narcan.com.
