Excelsior Springs city officials are pursuing a proposed $750,000 state grant for downtown revitalization aimed at helping preserve historic commercial buildings while supporting tourism, economic development and long-term investment in the downtown district.Before the regular city council meeting, officials held a public hearing on the proposed Community Development Block Grant Downtown Revitalization 2026 application and later unanimously approved a resolution supporting its submission.
