Haslett to answer to 10 felony charges, trial set
A Dec. 1, 2025, trial date has been set for an Excelsior Springs man accused of 10 felonies, including the first-degree murder of 36-year-old Jaynie Crosdale of Kansas City.Timothy M. Haslett Jr., 41, is charged with 10 felonies of first-degree rape or attempted rape, aggravated sexual offense; four counts of first-degree sodomy or attempted sodomy, aggravated sexual offense; first-degree kidnapping – facilitating a felony, inflicting injury and terrorizing; two counts of second-degree assault; first-degree endangering the welfare of a child, creating substantial risk, first offense, no sexual conduct and first-degree murder.With his public defender, Tiffany M. Leuty Winningham, Haslett recently appeared before Seventh Judicial Circuit Court Judge David P.
