Accused still facing original 9 felonies in same case
A grand jury has indicted a 41-year-old Excelsior Springs man for the first-degree murder of 36-year-old Jaynie Crosdale of Kansas City.
Timothy M. Haslett Jr.’s murder indictment was announced by Clay County Prosecuting Attorney Zachary Thompson in a press conference earlier this week. Haslett is already facing nine other charges in the case which began in October 2022, including first-degree rape or attempted rape, aggravated sexual offense; four counts of first-degree sodomy or attempted sodomy, aggravated sexual offense; first-degree kidnapping – facilitating a felony, inflicting injury and terrorizing; two counts of second- degree assault; first-degree endangering the welfare of a child, creating substantial risk, first offense, no sexual conduct.
