Hospital outreach highlights nutrition connection, informed choices

As winter approaches and more residents face isolation and food insecurity, Excelsior Springs Hospital is stepping into an educational role, helping connect community members with support programs while also finding creative ways to make health education more accessible and engaging.As part of its outreach efforts, the hospital will host an educational session focused on the Meals and a Visit Program (MVP) at 11:30 a.m. on Jan. 6. The session is intended to help residents better understand how the program works and who it is designed to serve.MVP is a city-led initiative assisting homebound residents through nutritious meals and social visits.
