The Excelsior Springs School District (ESSD) has announced their employee of the month for February. Information Technology (IT) Central Office Technician Collin Huffman, 19, of Smithville, was recognized for his outstanding work performance within the district. “Collin is always calm and collected and keeps us up and running at the central office,” said ESSD Deputy Superintendent Dr. Mark Bullimore. “He’s not afraid to try new and creative ways to keep us all current and more productive and he quickly addresses even the smallest issues with compassion and patience.” Technicians are assigned buildings and Huffman usually services the central office and Elkhorn Elementary. The technician’s job duties include maintaining and troubleshooting technology throughout district buildings.
