Because 50 years in business is considered something to celebrate, Y Liquor owners Bob and Billy Hart wanted a special celebration that appreciated the customers who have been the mainstay of the business. On Oct. 8, the couple hosted a Customer Appreciation Day at the storefront, providing hotdogs, various tastings and free T-shirts, as well as some giveaways. Bob Hart has owned the store since 1972. “Feb. 1, 1972, was when I bought it from Dennis King,” he said.
