Five felony domestic assault charges
A jury trial has been scheduled for an Excelsior Springs man facing five felonies of assault and one misdemeanor.Joshua B. Triplett, 43, has been charged with first-degree domestic assault, two counts of second- degree domestic assault, two counts of third-degree domestic assault and misdemeanor fourth-degree domestic assault.He recently appeared in Ray County Court with his private attorney, James R. Hall, before Eighth Judicial Circuit Court Judge Kevin L. Walden. Walden ordered Triplett to appear for a jury trial starting at 9 a.m. on July 14, 2025, and ending on July 18, 2025. He will appear next for a pre-trial conference at 2 p.m. on May 7, 2025. According to the complaint filed by Ray County Prosecuting Attorney Camille A.
