KC man arrested nearly 7 months after pursuit
A Kansas City man has been granted a bond reduction in connection with a case involving tampering with a vehicle and assaulting a law enforcement officer in Excelsior Springs.Justin C. Seevers, 35 is facing one felony charge of first-degree tampering with a motor vehicle. Additionally, he has been charged with two misdemeanors, including fourth-degree assault of a special victim and resisting or interfering with an arrest, detention or stop. Seevers previously entered a not-guilty plea to these charges in Clay County court on Jan. 7.Seventh Judicial Circuit Court Judge Louis Angles recently agreed to reduce bond from $50,000 to $20,000 with 10% or surety posting allowed, at Severs request.
