Lane closures set for U.S. 169 and Cookingham

The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) will begin traffic modifications on U.S. Highway 169 at Northwest Cookingham Drive starting next week as part of a scheduled bridge rehabilitation project. All work is weather permitting and dates and times are subject to change.Beginning at 9 a.m. on July 23, northbound U.S. 169 at Cookingham Drive will close, with traffic diverted onto the ramp to NW Cookingham Drive and I-435. This closure is expected to remain in place through 5 p.m. on October 31.Additional closures are planned for the weekend of July 25. From 7 p.m. through 5 a.m. on July 28, both eastbound and westbound Cookingham Drive will close underneath the U.S. 169 bridge for bridge deck removal.MoDOT urges drivers to slow down and stay alert in work zones.
