Local students earn degrees at Missouri State University

Several students from Excelsior Springs and Lawson earned degrees from Missouri State University this spring, joining more than 2,800 graduates who were recognized during commencement ceremonies held at the Great Southern Bank Arena.From Excelsior Springs, Madison Krier graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in biology.Kamryn Rowell earned a Bachelor of Science in health services, while and Kaitlyn Scarborough received a Bachelor of Science in biology.Two students from Lawson were also recognized.Elijah Kessler graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in construction management.Toni Sinclair received a cum laude distinction for her Bachelor of Science in Education, with a focus in special education and cross-categorical teaching.Graduating with honors at Missouri State requires students to complete at least 30 credit hours with a cumulati...
