The incredible care and effort provided by early Missouri settlers and farmers who selflessly aided the Cherokees during their arduous journey across frontier Missouri was recently shared during a Watkins Mill State Park event.Dr. Bill Ambrose, a member of the Missouri chapter of the Trail of Tears Association, spoke of the discovery of documents dating back almost 200 years and the application of cutting-edge techniques.
