Eric Marshall has been named the new athletics and activities director for the Excelsior Springs School District starting July 1, 2023. He is replacing Joe Greim, who resigned in December.

“I am excited for the opportunity to lead the athletics and activities department in such an amazing community,” Marshall said. “I look forward to getting to work with the students and staff as soon as possible. Excelsior Springs has always led the way when it comes to facilities, and I look forward to building on our existing traditions.” Marshall has been in the education field for 26 years, having served as Excelsior Springs High School assistant principal since 2019. Prior, he has worked as district activities director in the Kearney school district, and as wrestling, football and track coach at Marceline and Park Hill high schools.
