Dr. was named principal of Excelsior Springs High School for the 2023-2024 school year during a recent meeting of the Excelsior Springs School District’s Board of Education meeting.

With 19 years in the education field, Wickham has served as an English teacher and an administrative intern. She has been employed as an assistant principal at Liberty High School since 2017 and as the administrator at EDGE Microschool in Liberty since 2021.

Wickham said she looks forward to being part of strong Tiger traditions and working with the administrative team to ensure students have incredible opportunities to discover their potential and develop their strengths. “I’m excited to be joining a team of incredible educators who are deeply committed to the success of every student,” said Wickham.

It is Wickam’s goal to make students feel excited and hopeful about their future and to feel confident they are prepared for their next steps in life as a result of their experiences at Excelsior Springs High School.

“I can’t wait to meet all the students and staff of ESHS and partner together to continue building upon the culture of pride, excellence, and opportunity!” she exclaimed.

Wickham will officially begin her role on July 1, 2023.
