EXCELSIOR SPRINGS – The Board of Education renamed the old Early Childhood Center the Support Services Center, 113 E. Line St., when meeting there Sept. 13. The Facilities Services Center was another name considered, Superintendent Travis Hux stated in a Sept. 13 memo to district leaders. Hux served with four other committee members charged with rebranding the center. The change followed converting Westview Elementary into the ECC and the creation of Cornerstone Elementary School. Anthony Berry, Kalyn Goode, Melissa Miller and Ross Saheb also served on the committee, he stated.
