Orrick woman denied bond reduction
MIRANDA JAMISONAn Orrick woman has been denied a bond reduction after entering a not-guilty plea to three felony charges.Deanna M. Graves, 39, has been charged with three felonies, including third-degree domestic assault, armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon. She appeared this week before Eighth Judicial Circuit Court Judge Lori J. Baskins. Through her public defender, Andrew J. Ruhlman, she requested her $10,000 bond be reduced.“For bond, we would request ROR (release on own recognizance),” said Ruhlman. “She has a vehicle and it is my understanding that there was an altercation, but we will show she was the one who was assaulted.”Ray County Assistant Prosecuting Attorney Tara Medlin opposed the ROR bond. “She has a history of not appearing in court,” stated Medlin.
