Many longtime Excelsior Springs residents might remember 201 S. Thompson Ave. as the location of The Odd Fellows Lodge. Husband-and-wife entrepreneurs Tony and Paula Wilkinson are hoping the building will become known as the location for their new business, Moments and Memories. Moments and Memories’ services include making various types of cakes, including diaperdesigned cakes for baby showers; beer-designed cakes for birthdays and bachelor parties; and shot glass-designed cakes for bachelorette, bachelor or birthday parties. They also include creating other types of gifts for special occasions, such as youth birthdays and the holidays. In addition, Moments and Memories can decorate “a hotel room, or Airbnb or even just at your personal home” for romantic moments, according to Paula Wilkinson.
