The life-changing impact of one-on-one mentorship took center stage as Big Brothers Big Sisters of Kansas City shared stories of connection, growth and potential now taking shape in Excelsior Springs.The presentation was part of a recent meeting of Excelsior Springs Substance Abuse Free Environments (SAFE), where coalition members learned how the evidence-based program is helping youth build resilience and stability through consistent, supportive relationships.
