The Excelsior Springs School Board was recently updated regarding the construction of the new Lewis Elementary School. Both Newkirk Novack Construction Partners and Incite Design Studio detailed their ideals about the project they are working diligently to complete for the 2025 school year. Michael Botchway, architectural designer for Incite Design Studio, explained what the community can expect regarding Lewis Elementary’s floorplan as the project continues to evolve. According to Botchway, kindergarten through second-grade classes will be located on the main level of the new facility, while third through fifth grade will be on the upper level.
