School district audit shows stable financial operations
A year of steady revenues and stable financial operations culminated in clean audit results for the Excelsior Springs School District, reinforcing auditors’ findings of unmodified opinions across all major areas.School board members approved the district’s fiscal year 2025 audit during a recent open meeting following a detailed presentation from Westbrook and Co. Certified Public Accountant Brad Steele.“In our opinion, the financial statements referred to above present fairly in all material respects,” said Steele.Steele told members the audit included both a financial statement audit and a federal programs audit.
