JEFFERSON CITY – Candidate filing for the April school board elections opened Dec. 15 for most school districts in the state, Missouri School Boards’ Association information states. Filing closes for all school districts on Jan. 19. School board elections will be held April 6. A candidate must be a U.S. citizen, a resident taxpayer of the district, a Missouri resident for one year and at least 24 years old.
