The Clay County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) has released its 2024 Annual Report, highlighting statistical increases across multiple divisions and offering the public a transparent look at operations, staffing and spending for the calendar year ending Dec. 31, 2024.The report includes a breakdown of departmental performance, budget allocation and public safety data. The document notes the total operating budget for CCSO was $28,235,203, a 6.7% increase from 2023.Personnel costs accounted for 82% of the budget, followed by contractual expenses at 10%. The remainder was divided among detention facility maintenance, commodities and grant-funded programs.
