The Clay County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) is once again calling on the community to help spread kindness and connection through a Valentine’s Day initiative focused on local seniors.As part of its annual “feel-good mission,” CCSO is collecting both handmade and store-bought Valentine’s cards to be delivered to nursing homes and assisted living facilities throughout Clay County. The initiative is designed to bring joy to seniors who may feel isolated while also giving community members of all ages a simple way to make a meaningful difference.“This Valentine’s Day, we’re calling in back-up and we’re counting on you,” said CCSO Public Relations Manager Sarah Boyd. “Help Clay County deputies deliver smiles to our local seniors.
