Excelsior Springs is once again preparing to roll out the red carpet for its senior residents. The Silver Prom returns this spring with expanded offerings, increased community involvement and an afternoon dedicated to connection across generations.The 2025 Silver Prom will take place from 2-5 p.m. on April 12 at the Excelsior Springs High School (ESHS) commons. This year’s theme, “This Magic Moment,” reflects the event’s goal of creating an uplifting, memorable experience for individuals aged 60 and older, along with their companions and caregivers.Reservations are required and can be made by calling Excelsior Springs Neighborhood Specialist Laura Mize at 816-629-7011 or by signing up in person at the Excelsior Springs Senior Center.
