JEFFERSON CITY – Representatives from Missouri State Parks invite the public to attend an informational meeting at the Battle of Lexington State Historic Site in Lexington. The meeting is set to get underway at 6 p.m. Oct. 10 at the visitor’s center. The public is invited to share comments about the historic site – which highlights the Southern victory over Union troops at the Battle of Lexington, also called the Battle of the Hay Bales. Comments also are expected to focus on site operations during the meeting.
