Trio vies for one area road division spot
Three candidates have filed for one available seat on the Orrick Special Road District Board of Commissioners in the upcoming April 7 municipal election.The candidates are Jeffrey A. Cox, Gale R. Claypole and Chad Stockton.Cox, 56, is a resident of Orrick and a graduate of a Wyoming high school. He is retired after a 30year career in the oil and gas industry. The candidate has lived in the district for six years and has been married to Edith for 35 years. The couple has six children, four of whom live locally, with a daughter residing in Nebraska and a son in Idaho.The Standard requested all candidates respond to questions to provide voters with insight into their views on important subjects. However, no response was received from Claypole and Stockton.
