Two candidates are on the ballot for one seat on the Crystal Lakes Special Road District in the April 7 municipal election.The candidates are Ron Smith and Chris Reynolds.To give voters a better understanding of candidates’ views, The Standard requested all candidates answer several questions. However, Reynolds did not respond when contacted using phone numbers provided by Ray County Clerk’s Office.Smith is a resident of Crystal Lakes and works for T&W Tire as a semi-trailer mechanic, where he also performs Department of Transportation inspections. He attended high school in Washington State and later served in the United States Navy.
