When Cliff and Debbie Van Till founded the Van Till Family Farm Winery in 2009 in Rayville, they hoped they would build a multigenerational business. And with the creation of a new business in downtown Excelsior Springs, the Van Tills have taken a step toward realizing that goal. Called Pairings by Van Till, the wine bar is run by Jason Van Till, their son; and Sarah Van Till, his wife. Jason Van Till serves as general manager. Sarah Van Till serves as kitchen manager. Open since late May, Pairings offers wines that are created at the Van Till winery, along with charcuterie boards and small appetizers, such as baked brie with in-house-baked bread.
