The “Art of Robert Grace” is the focal point of an open house set for 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 17 at the Excelsior Springs Museum and Archives. Robert Grace is a professional illustrator and a 1974 graduate of Excelsior Springs High School. This retrospective of Grace’s art covers periods throughout his varied career as a commercial artist. The versatility of his artistic talent is showcased including his work for the internationally successful computer game “Riven: The Sequel to Myst.” Other digital work featured includes work done for computer-based training programs for Burlington Northern Railroad and the U.S. Air Force.
