Voters to decide Missouri House District 38 race
Voters will decide who represents Missouri House District 38 in the Aug. 4 election.
Mary Hill and incumbent Martin Jacobs are seeking the District 38 seat, which covers Liberty and portions of Clay County in the Northland. Jacobs, a Democrat, currently represents the district in the Missouri House of Representatives.
Jacobs said his decision to seek another term centers largely on public education, support for first responders and economic development.
“I am running for the District 38 Representative position to continue to advocate for and work on legislation to provide proper assistance/support for public education,” stated Jacobs. “This is critical to the wellbeing of all citizens and our economy. First responders need proper support for all their needs regarding adequate health care, salary and pensions.”
