Warrant issued for Cass County man
A Belton man has been issued a warrant after failing to appear at Clay County Court.
Daneal Addison-Marshall, 29, recently failed to appear for an arraignment hearing before Seventh Judicial Circuit Court Judge Timothy J. Flook. Addison-Marshall’s public defender, Andrew J. Ruhlman, was in attendance and requested the hearing be continued. Assistant Prosecuting Attorney Nicholas M. Romano
objected to this request and asked that a warrant be issued. Judge Flook agreed with the prosecution and issued a failure to appear warrant for two felony charges of first-degree tampering with a motor vehicle and resisting arrest, detention or stop by fleeing, creating a substantial risk of serious injury or death to any person. The warrant shows a new bond of $15,000 cash or surety. Before failing to appear, Addison-Marshall previously posted a bond of $30,000 through Michael Palmer Bail Bonds, this bond has now been forfeited.
