EXCELSIOR SPRINGS – Last Friday afternoon’s thunderstorms played havoc with trees and limbs, caused power outages and damaged roofs in Excelsior Springs.

No injuries resulted.

The power outages took in the water plant, where staff had to ask residents to conserve water until power could be restored because the plant lacked electricity to operate pumps.
