As youth-focused vaping products evolve and the average age of first use in Missouri drops to 13, prevention specialists in the Northland warn consistent education and open conversations with parents are becoming more urgent than ever.That urgency is behind a new winter workshop series hosted by Beacon Mental Health, Parent Up and Liberty Alliance for Youth, designed to give parents and caregivers practical tools to help guide youth through social pressures, brain development and substance use prevention.
