Creating self-awareness in the workplace is a new goal of Director of the Community Center and Parks and Recreation Nate Williams. After becoming a Certified Facilitator for Working Genius — as he recently did — productivity and workplace confidence can be increased, he said. The Six Types of Working Genius is a new model that helps people discover their natural gifts and thrive in their place of employment and life. Working Genius states, “When people are able to better understand the types of work that bring them more energy and fulfillment and avoid work that leads to frustration and failure, they can be more self-aware, more productive and more successful.” Working Genius identifies the six fundamental activities that are said to be required for any type of work or home situation and provides a simple framework for how work gets completed.
