Diana was born on March 9, 1959, in Excelsior Springs to William “Ted” and Shirley (Robertson) Husher. She graduated in 1977 from Excelsior Springs High School.

After graduation, Diana worked at Tredegar/Precise/ Rexam.

After working 35 years, she stayed at home to help care for her grandchildren and neighbor kids.

Diana was known for always having an open door to those that needed a roof over their head for the evening. Diana loved her family, her friends, horses and John Wayne. She enjoyed being with her family and friends, babysitting and being around her grandchildren, arts and crafts, taking pictures, listening to music, and most recently, reconnecting with so many online.

Diana was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters, Patricia (Peak) and Sharon (Renfrow); husband, Mike Turner; and stepbrother, John Chowning.

Diana is survived by her life partner, Clayton Martin; her children, William “Dagen” (and Chelsea) Husher, Carla (and Dustin) Rose, and Dayna (and Brian) Leonard; her brother, William “Eddie” Husher; and sister, Margie (and William “Bill”) Fry; her stepdad, Ellis Chowning; her stepbrothers, James and Ellis “Junior” Chowning; and stepsister, Rita (and Ron) Sullivan.

Other survivors include her seven grandchildren, Emery and Weston Husher, Hunter and Amelia Dallas, and Memphis, Destiny and Erin Leonard; and many extended family members, consisting of nieces, nephews, cousins, the Martin family and friends she considered family.

She will be dearly missed by her loved ones. The family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the Excelsior Springs Hospice for the care they gave Diana.
