Howard Eugene Tate, 68, of Lawson passed away July 30, 2026.

He was the devoted husband of Cheryl Tate and loving father of Jennifer Eversole and Valorie Gorham. He also is survived by four grandchildren.

He was a parts specialist at Central Power Systems & Services. Visitation will be 4-6 p.m. Friday, Aug. 7, with the funeral services at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 8, at Hidden Valley Funeral Home of Kearney. Burial will be at Hillcrest Cemetery.
