Dealing with people in general or specifically partners, family members or friends can be quite the challenge. Being close with individuals will likely bring disagreements or quarrels – leading to annoyance and irritation.
As an older sister, daughter and girlfriend, I get it.
There are moments when my family members are so annoying or some days I wake up on the wrong side of the bed and I am annoyed. Investigating the deeper meaning of my feelings, although valid, is a curious task.
My mother often would ask me when I call to vent about an annoyance in my life, “Are they being annoying with intent or are you just annoyed?”
She really knows how to look at the bigger picture.
