The pursuit of comfort and pleasure can take on many different forms. Personally, finding joy in helping the ones loved ones is very meaningful to me, even when it occurs in challenging circumstances. I have always found it intriguing how I gravitate towards forming friendships with individuals who are considerably older than me. A dear friend of mine named Diana left us just over six months ago. Despite the significant age gap between us, our connection was profound and unlike anything I’d experienced before. She embraced my child as her own granddaughter and our bond only grew deeper with time. The sorrow that engulfed us after her passing was particularly hard on my daughter, as she is young and didn’t fully understand.
