Lots of thoughts about a Tiger-turned-Griffon-turned Raider

Sam Webb has been on my mind a lot lately. Webb is an Excelsior Springs High Webb is an Excelsior Springs High School graduate who played cornerback at Missouri Western State University, an NCAA Division II school in St. Joseph. Looking to become a pro football player, he attended the NFL Scouting Combine in March in Indianapolis. His workout created a buzz that he might be taken in the NFL Draft, held April 28-30 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Webb, however, was not drafted. Instead, as the NFL confirmed on its website, he signed as an undrafted free agent with the Las Vegas Raiders – formerly the Oakland Raiders, then formerly the Los Angeles Raiders, then formerly the Oakland Raiders again.
