MARSHALL – The Tigers made their presence felt Sept. 10 in varsity cross country action at Marshall.

Six Excelsior Springs girls runners finished in the top 15 of the 3.1-mile varsity race. Junior Jacey Brewer continued her lead as the team’s top runner placing second overall in 22 minutes, 23 seconds. Smithon’s Riley Bryan was the individual winner, finishing in 19:53.

Senior Zacalen Lohm an finished fifth with a time of 23:17. Junior Ava Ishmael placed seventh with a time of 23:30. Junior Lacey Miller rounded out the top 10, finishing in 23:55.

Junior Macey Chaney took 13th, finishing at 25:51.
